We are excited to be continuing the CEP program for breakfast and lunch in the 2024-2025 School year. This allows every student to receive each meal free of charge. Please note that if your child brings a lunch from home and wants a milk from the school we must charge .30 cents as we can only offer free reimbursable meals. Hello Oaker Families, I wanted to send a quick reminder that the Oakland Booster Club/PTO dinner and auction will take place this Saturday beginning at 6:00 pm in the OES cafeteria. Dinner and the silent auction will take place between 6 and 7:30, and the live auction will start at 7:30. Tickets are $25 and are available at the door or online at www.oaklandboosterclub.org. Come out and enjoy a fun evening and help support the Oaker Student Body.

Starting Summer 2024: Oregon Summer EBT is a program that will help pay for meals and will renew each year. Please note that this is different than P-EBT, since we are free for all breakfast and lunch if you do not receive other benefits such as snap you will need to apply starting July, 1 2024 Eligible school-age children will receive $120 per child during the summer for groceries. Hello Oaker families! In observance of the Memorial Day Holiday, there is no school on Monday May 27th, but there will be school on Friday May 31st! Have a safe and fun weekend!

Due to poor weather, we will unfortunately be cancelling our wrestling trip to Central Oregon for the Redmond Classic this weekend. This was not an easy decision to make and was made with careful consideration. The fact is, the roads are not in good shape and there have been several semi-accidents. We think student safety is of the utmost importance and therefore decided to cancel this weekends trip over the mountain. The silver lining to this dark cloud is that we were able to put together a dual here at home with Lowell, who also made the tough decision to pull the plug on attending the Redmond Classic. Weigh-ins will begin at 9am and wrestling will begin at 10am here in the Nut House. Thank you for all you guys do to make Oakland awesome

This is to let you know that there IS SCHOOL TOMORROW 01/09/2024(unless things change overnight). You should have received a text, email, and Oakers App notification titled Winter Weather Alert Practice. This alert was to make everyone aware of our new notification system in case school closures and emergencies. If you DID NOT receive any notifications please let your school office know so we can get you added.
